Staff was particularly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, most especially the unlimited cappuccino. Convenient (by auto) to the old city. Room very clean. Great Price! If you are looking for a place from which to venture out to explore Northern Italy, this place would be hard to beat. Awesome room and hotel features at an incredible price. Marble floor, tiled walls bathroom, great Internet, flat screen TV, excellent breakfast. This is the best price - performance ratio you can ever find in Europe !.

The guests cannot control it and during the night it becomes too cold.We had problems with air conditioning, which was beyond our control, so we get cold at night. I believe temperature was set to 18-20 C. and we were not able even to switch it out. Staff said it was temporary problem. Poor breakfast, but it seams it is standard in Italian hotels. This is a minor thing, but the pay-per-view video system did not work. Even though I asked for a help to fix it, the staff was not willing to help me. I wrote this only for the future improvement.The abandoned looking building site next to the hotel is not so nice, but it is just a minor thing. Decor of room dark wood.A little remote if you did not have a car. The air conditioning did only work in some circumstances, but we really couldn't find out exactly how. So we slept with the airco off, which wasn't too nice.internet although free, did not work. Dark and oldfashioned furnitures, style of early 80-ties, swarm of mosquitoes. The hotel is siuated 30min by bus and 15min by taxi away from the city centre. The hotel did run a shuttle bus but it only was accessible at limited time. Signposting could be better!. I requested for a "three bedded room" for a family group . I would prefer to have a bigger room ar two rooms to accomodate the three beds. Too far out and in an isolated spot. Can't even go for a walk, as area too deserted and very, very close to a state prison!!!!!!! No restaurants within walking distance either. No restaurant at hotel, although willing to microwave a frozen supermarket meal.Everything inside looks like it was in heavy use for last 10 years. Internet did not work (neither WiFi nor Internet point) and nobody cared. Eleganza rooms were very noisy (dog farm nearby, sounds from nearby rooms). The normal rooms are more or less quiet, but also far from soundproof.We had 2 very bad nights sleep due to very noisey air conditioning inour room, we spoke to staff after the first night and got no help.Weasked to speak to the manager when we were leaving as we were veryunhappy about paying the full amount due to the very poor quality of ouraccomodation, we were told that we could not speak to the manager as hewas unavailable. I will be writing.
