Good location - free atmosphere of University-blok, bus c from train- station is near by, 2 min by walk from Two Towers and then close - city center. Very clean, comfortable big room and bathroom. Beautifull and good-taste decorated rooms and common area. Staff is very attentive, kind and helpfull. Breakfast is good. The hotel is much better that it looks on fotos and in discription. Feels more than two stars. Price is very attractive. I recomend the hotel.
all reviews » Once you enter the hotel, everything you see is very modern and finished to the highest of standards. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The staff, although some of them could have better English, were helpful. The receptionist even printed out a map for us with the directions to the closest bus stop for the Airport shuttle bus. Will definitely return to the hotel if I am in Bologna again. Nice, light, airy, clean, spacious room on top floor - had asked for quiet room. Staff very helpful about airport buses at weekend - differ from weekdays, don't run from city centre after 8 a.m. - and about arranging taxi to airport - as better value at weekends. This hotel was a positive experience and is very close to city centre and thus excellent value for money. This hotel is a great value for the money, it's in a great location, everything is in a close walking distance. Room has a large bathroom, towels are changed regular, on daily basis. Wi-fi is excellent, signal is strong everywhere in the hotel and the speeds are good. Breakfast is also very good, large choice. The quiet, dark room, where I slept well. The clean modern bathroom that did not flood. This hotel was easy walking distance to the places I wanted to visit. The staff were helpful. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. There was an extra blanket for when it got cold. The room was quite simple but linen and surroundings were clean. i liked the design and location; it was noisy outside, but we closed the window and sound isolation was just perfect. The street and building from the outside, is a bit iffy as it is part of a very old building. The insides however have been refurbished to the highest (and chic) standards. It is noisy at night in this area - close to Piazza Verdi where students congregate but it is close to the historic centre so worth putting up with that for us. The breakfasts would have been better with fresh bread rolls instead of cake and the ubiquitous dry, packaged rusks. Coffee put out in a jug, with unlimited hot water from an urn for tea or for diluting the strong coffee, and the option of freshly boiled eggs instead of cheese and salami would have been nice. Nothing worth mentioning. The seat in the shower, it made me feel old. The breakfast was quite poor. It needed fresh rolls and really hot water for the tea and a second cup of tea offered. The cakes were not homemade. The fruit was dull. I think it was over priced because of the breakfast. I did not like the modern music playing in the dining room. There was no safe in the room for valuables. Staff not speaking fluently english but that's ok... Not the most salubrious area of town with lots of graffiti on the walls but it was safe. It got a bit noisy because of the bars that are very close to the hotel, personally, I didn't mind it but if you like to sleep in peace then you might want to reconsider. the elevator was rather slowly:). Noise from the street on a summer night, the hotel should be more clear about extra charges for parking and air-condition from the beginning. At least in the summer, there were some street gangs of youths in the surrounded area of the hostel. Nothing to appoint. The exterior of the hotel, you don´t imagine that it could be a good hotel by judging its outer appereance. I liked all there. - kinda bad part of town (homeless 2 streets from here). Opportunity for organize transport throughout the city. Not very friendly staff and hotel had building work going on. Breakfast was not super, but it was okey for being a small hotel.. nothing. Unfortunately, the staff is neither helpful or friendly. Expect ice-age service. Possible issue - if you are smoker and select smoking preference in the booking, it doesn't really matter - they'll say you can't smoke anywhere near the premise (with a really authoritative tone, in my case). First room was used and not cleaned. Air con costs extra? Unfortunately the location is horrid (heroin addicts on Piazza Giuseppe Verdi) but that is not the hotel's fault and its crowded there so "safe". The air conditioning was not working, the staff were very unhelpful in trying to rectify the issue. A fan was eventually provided after many hours, the fan however was broken and caused a very loud noise. At check out the, the staff were very unsympathetic, and offered nothing in the way of a n apology or compensation. * No internet in the room * No ability to call. Small double bed no air conditioning. Be aware of this hotel. if you see that your room is situated in separate building - be ready that you'll be settled out in some village 30-40 km from bologna. Its a kind of trick to pick up more money and set you in some cheap place. The Cleanness. Although the room, bed sheets and towels were clean. We have found COCKROACHES and Spiders almost everywhere in the room and toilet. Even in the corridor leading to the room! Staff were not helping at all, and Manager was even worse!! Not recommended at all!!. Staff is extremely unfriendly. Wouldn't go here a second time. standard room was not very clean or comfortable.Shower curtain was 1/4 black with mildew and top of shower had about 6 empty bottles of shampoo.Moved to luxe room and was quite different.
