Owned by the Bucher family for 3 generations, Villa Serbelloni stands at the end of the Bellagio promontory, with views of Lake Como and the Alps. It features 2 gardens, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a spa with beauty centre. Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni was transformed into a luxury 5-star hotel in 1873. The property boasts impressive staircases and frescoed ceilings. The grand hall, the Salone Reale, features splendid chandeliers in Murano glass. Rooms are spacious and elegant, and each offers air conditioning, an LCD TV with satellite channels, and a minibar. The décor is classic, with soft carpeted floors, wooden furniture, and unique details. Some rooms offer views of the lake. The Mistral Restaurant was awarded with a Michelin star in 2005, and offers the chance to eat by the pool, or in a refined dining room. La Goletta serves regional specialities in an informal setting. A full English breakfast is served daily. The spa is available for wellness and beauty treatments. Sports facilities include tennis and squash courts, and a gym with cardio-fitness machineries.

We loved everything about the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni! We made our reservation based on a recommendation from a well-travelled, trusted friend, and we were not disappointed. The entire facility is pristine, despite it's age. The service was second to none, from the bellman to the concierge to the housekeeping staff and the waiters in the restaurants and dining room. Our room overlooked the garden and was right next to the church. It was lovely in every sense of the word. The windows opene.
all reviews » Superbly located on water's edge with magnificent outlook over the lake to the western shore. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was very spacious (two rooms plus excellent bathroom) with lake view. Staff were pleasant and helpfull with no trace of pretension or snobbishness. Dinner in Mistral restaurant, while expensive, was superb and good value. As a bit of a splurge, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni really delivered and is on our bucket-list for a return visit!. Stylish 5 stars hotel for special occasion. Lot of souvenirs from this fantastic hotel, but also thanks to Bellagio and of course the lake. Not a snotty atmosphere, very welcoming, smily staff and clients. The room are classy, clean, stylish and modern (double glazed windows, secured door...). Excellent breakfast in the 'salon royal'. This is a lovely old Hotel precious Villa on the shore of Como based in bellagio. The views from the rooms are very beautiful and peaceful. Traveller's might note that the turn to get on the tiny one-way road that takes you past the Bellagio pedestrian zone to the hotel is a little hard to find. There is a parking lot next to the car ferry, with a small sign where the road goes through the wall. If you leave the parking lot area you won't find this road. Nothing. The decor in the main floor salon looked confused in style. The interior decor by the pool area was shabby. Not enough outdoor sitting for taking in the great views. When I got a massage, the headrest of SO HARD that I could barely stand it. It really hurt my face to lay face down on it. Need a clock in the swimming pool area - I was in there prior to my massage and didn't have a way to know what time it was for my appointment. It had poor sign posting when arriving. A bit pretentious and over-priced. - the toilet is a bit small - the furniture in the room a bit old. Poor WiFi setup. The bar prices. Mini Bar too expensive. Price of rooms Plumbing bad. 8 Euros to wash 1 sock. That is right, not a pair, but ONE sock. Terrible beds. My back still hurts............ Stay away from this hotel! It was old and very overpriced. We slept on what felt like a box spring and the pillows were hard as rocks. Most of all stay away from the concierge to book excursion. You pay them directly and they will rip you off. I paid 250 euro for 1.5 hour boat tour we got 40 mins. When sent them a complaint via email and they never responded. Very old, rundown facilities. Moldy. Poor quality of room.No air conditioning in September although very hot Should not be a five or even a four star hotel. Greatly overpriced. Left a day early because it was so uncomfortable.

Terrazza Serbelloni is the hotel’s more formal restaurant, and its grand terrace looks out onto one of the most beautiful panoramas of the lake, embracing in a single swoop both flowering gardens and snow-capped mountains. The menu at Terrazza Serbelloni offers dishes of best international cuisine.

The Mistral Restaurant was created to give the hotel a more informal restaurant. Since it was opened it has also become a research laboratory for Ettore Bocchia who here achieved his first Michelin star.
The Mistral offers the chance to eat out beside the pool or in a refined indoor dining room, decorated with the panelling of the great steamers and with large windows out onto the outside world.
The menu is inspired by Italian gourmet cuisine and offers dishes with newly reinterpreted traditional ingredients, bringing them together in light, creative recipes
