Staff:very friendly, professional, efficient, ready to assist. Rich Israely breakfast. Tripple room cosy, comfortable, clean, contains jacuzzi, nice view from room and especially from 4th floor roof to unique Bahai Gardens & Mount Carmel. Excellent location within beautifully restored Templar German Quarter, many restaurants, pubs + museums and nice restored buildings. Good accessibility both via public transportation (including new "METRONIT"(long busses moving swiftly on dedicated lanes).
all reviews » A little bit of luxury in the German Colony in Haifa. Beautiful soft white beds and sumptuous bathrooms. Perfectly located for restaurants and seeing the old city. Such a shame we only stayed one night! It was very difficult to leave the next morning and next time around we will be staying much longer. Would recommend to anyone. It really felt luxurious to me. There were chocolates on the pillows, a robe and slippers, extensive coffee making material, fridge, complementary water bottle....I'm not used to all that! The staff especially was incredibly friendly, with one of them having a lovely sense of humor!!. It was in a great position on the beautiful Ben Gurion Avenue. Even though the street is lively we couldn't hear any noise from the street in our bedroom. The bedroom and bathroom were charming and old- fashioned but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The room was charming, large and immaculate. Staff were very helpful and nice. The hotel is in a perfect location on a street full of interesting restaurants within walking distance and with a glorious view up to the Bahai Gardens. Very beautiful part of the city in an historic building with helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was wonderful and is served in a pretty room. Room comfort, mine even had a jacuzzi. The hotel building is great. It is from 1905. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The location is absolutely at the center of the city with a view on Ben Gurion Blvd. and upon the B'hai Gardens!. Very characteristic hotel in center of Haifa. I suspect it was due to the location of my room, rather than being noisy overall, though. Other than that, nothing really negative to say!!. The car park was difficult to find, after several laps of the main street we double parked and jumped out to ask for instructions; if they were given on the website that would be perfect!. I can't really think of anything. There are some small repairs that need to be done in the bathroom: towel racks, wallpaper and grip bars are partially detached from the walls. Fix the details and the room is perfect. We had a lovely room to the Ben Gurion Street, but it was too loud especially in the rush hour and in the evening with a lot of hooting. So we moved to quieter room facing the courtyard, which was alright then. The plaster in the bathroom wasn't in perfect conditions. Some of the staff was not helpful and rather rude. There was no one to help with our luggage when we arrived and the lobby is on the second floor. Noise in room right off the lobby. A little tight on space. Street cleaners woke us every day. First night was a bit noisy due to wedding party. Hotel guests would have been happier if they new in advance how late the noise would last. noisy place inside the hotel. room was a bit small. bids are not comfortable .i also expected a floor carpet. Sorry but I won't put Haifa as a tourist must. We did enjoy our time with our daughter who is at University. rooms ) were small and very dated - simliar to an old New York city hotel, but clean with fair (not good or great furniture and bedding). Some patchwork on walls and flooring but quite clean Staff were very nice and breakfast was good, and in a very nice room and setting Overall pricy for quality, but based on location to gardens and german colony ( which is a street, not a neighborhood).
