The hotel is nicely located in the center of Haifa; the downside is that the rooms (likely all of them) are very noisy. The room we got (#1) was very comfortable and we stayed there very satisfactorily for 4 nights (conference at Technion). Staff is very friendly and helpful. For breakfast, one has to walk for 2 minutes but the quality and service is average (it is a small cafe). Perfect location in the heart of the German Colony, steps away from the base of the Bahai Gardens. Easy to navigate to and from and to park. The dining options in the neighborhood are numerous, although we ended up eating at the restaurant next door because of its eclectic menu. Our room was spacious with even a small kitchen area, and the balcony was delightful.

We were offered a choice of a nice room in the next door annex, however the entrance was rather dingy and damp-smelling, or for a small supplement a very nice room with a balcony in the main building, definitely worth it. beautifuly designed boutique hotel. modern fixtures/decor and comfortable bed within an historic building and area. small, friendly. large clean rooms, jacuzzi, kitchenette area, balcony with table and chairs overlooking main street city facing with sun awning. This hotel is excellently located right below the Bahai Gardens, on a street full of restaurants. The room was not large but it was well designed so there was room to store all of our stuff. The staff was helpful. Staff was fery helpful, free parking on back yard, great location with Bahai gardens direct view and many tasty cafe's around. I enjoyed the style of the room. One of us had to sleep with earplugs as it only quiets down at midnight but starts again at 5:00am. So if you decided to go there, consider that you are in the middle of restaurants and bars. We would recommend the hotel to isolate the hotel rooms a bit better. The room is confortable but much too expensive. Car parking space is easy to find when you know where it is but at the first attempt very stressful, we did several circuits of Ben Gurion before stopping to ask where to park. The reception is unmanned at night, on our first night there we found we were locked out after putting in the keycard the wrong way round (no second attempt); fortunately someone connected with the hotel was sitting nearby and was able to call for help. parking lot is public and around the corner from hotel. inconvenient with luggage. also, no elevator but staff will carry luggage. N/A. Bed was good for the sleep but had big wooden wings at floor level that I met sometimes walking the room. Not too comfortable for staying with little kids, more suited for the couples. The Albatross room is located over the Fatoush restaurant. Until 11-11:30 pm there is a lot of noise and loud music. The Bahai gardens view from the balcony is amazing but the noise should be mentioned in the room description. Nothing. expensive. Nothing! It's a great place to stay!. jacuzzi in the room didnt work. I'd prefer more privacy in the shower. Room could be a bit cleaner, however wasn't so bad. Our room was too small and not well ventilated (we could not open the window as all the smoke from the kitchens' restaurants in the street come in). I think it is a bit priced for the kind of room we stayed. Restaurant below was too noisy late night when they were cleaning and restocking. Too many steps inside the room and oversized bed base for the size of the room. room was a bit dusty, even after it has just been cleaned... seemed like the dust was back on all the surfaces at once... I expected it to be small, but the superior double room (the Mandala) was really tiny; Sleep quality was not good with the air conditioner blasting directly on you on the bed with no way to adjust, if you try not using the air conditioner the breeze through the window blows directly on your head. Disappointing. Dusty at room Breakfast is at a non related cafe on the street non buffet stingy and very limited need to pay for any extra for breakfast It's not a hotel just expensive inn.
