I could have stayed here for days wandering the gardens and castle ruins. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Our room was huge and very comfortable. After reading so many reviews about Des I couldn't wait to finally meet him. He was so accommodating and helpful with everything. A pot of tea and biscuits were served in the garden on arrival which was just what we needed after a long day. Be aware that you will need to drive a minimum of five minutes for dinner. Loved this place.

Tea was set in the garden, a gorgeous space, and we felt like royalty. The property is part of a medieval castle. You will immediately feel the aura as soon as you drive in. Please do yourself a favor. If you are in or near Waterford, stay at the Coach House. Absolutely everything, we were greeted by the wonderful host des o'keeffe, who spent time chatting to us about our journey and took the time to make a pot of tea. The coach house is luxurious and a fabulous testament to the dedication of Des over many years. Very comfortable luxurious facilities, and a view which made us feel like royal. Sensational breakfast. We would certainly recommend to our friends and family. We liked everything about the hotel. Warm friendly welcome with a cup of tea to start off with. Enjoyed a chat before shown to a large elegant warm room. There were small friendly old world touches about the place. The gardens are beautiful. Very warm relaxing place and highly recommend it. Easy to drive into Waterford city and to surrounding towns. Des is a most personable host/owner and the Coach House reflects this in every tastefully decorated corner. The comfort can only be described as luxurious without being overly so. If you do not value the personal touch, do not stay at the Coach House. We will be back next year, conditions permitting.
