The host, Bernadette was a delight. She was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. When I became ill, Bernadette allowed an extra late check-out which was much appreciated. Her B&B is lovely. It is spacious and comfortable and quiet and decorated in a cosy style. We had a back room overlooking a garden so was extra quiet.. Location is brilliant - 10min to O'Connell St by bus - bus stop outside B&B. Great breakfast too.
all reviews » We had an overnight stay with an early morning airline departure. Willow House is convenient to the Dublin Airport. There are numerous places to eat and easy bus access to the city and a short walk to Croke Park. Bernadette is a very friendly and helpful host. Bernadette was a very friendly and helpful host. Visit Fagan's pub for dinner, has yummy food and is within easy walking distance. excellent location with bus stop to town center right out front. Excelllent Italian restaurant one block away. Very comfortable bed and quiet bedroom in rear. A warm and friendly welcome, helpful advice, and a great breakfast. The location was ideal as it was just a short bus ride into the heart of Dublin. Room a little small but fine for two nights. all was perfect. Rooms are not very noiseproof. bathroom wasn't great, extractor fan wasnt working properly and made a loud noise. Tight parking Small room Very small shower Hard to find/ small sign. A bit expensive when compared to other Irish accommodation we have stayed in since. Everything. Smelled musty, Internet a joke. Stairs not suitable for older person or luggage. Trip hazards in hallway. Rooms pokey. Bathroom a squeeze. I would never recommend this as a B&B to anyone. Just give it a miss.
