the service. Just thought it was a real warm, homely Hotel at an excellent price. general facilites, warm and friendly staff in all areas. setting lovely, near city, food delicious, staff friendly and helpful. Staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. Room comfort and bar/resturant. It was a lovely hotel we would stay there again. all reviews »
Only fault was that there was no shampoo in our bathroom. telephone messages from outside were never delivered; these were received at reception desk and were important. bedroom very warm and room adjoining so could hear next door ,,. There was a smell of must/damp in the bathroom. The cover around the bottom of the bath was in need of replacement and looked like it had been damaged from a leak. The food in the restaurant was very disappointing. My husbands main course was wrong and the food was generally dry and bland. I would not eat there again.
