The hotel was fabulous, everything was clean and the staff were veryfriendly and helpful. Taxi's were available within minutes (receptionordered them for us and they arrived right outside the door) and it wasonly a short spin into the city centre. The reception staff were so courteous and helpful, I could not fault anything about the hotel, well done and thanks to all the staff including the breakfast staff, would love to stay again.

The swimming pool is seperate from the hotel building.Wish we had known that most of the public ares of the hotel were taken up with a wedding it was almost impossible to get a drink and even more impossible to get a seat so had to resort to going back to our room. Also very disappointed with the area. Shower slow to heat water. dining room facing busy road and oil terminal pity it could not look other way. bit of a trek to the leisure centre but I suppose its all part of the exercise!. the food in the restaurant was horrible and over priced but our friends stayed and ate in the bar so i think that would be a better option. The room was rather noisey with traffic from the road we overlooked and unfortunately this was enhanced due to it being a warm night and we had to have the window open. The bath and shower were a little tired and grubby and needed replacing.View from front of hotel ..... Cork Docks. Further from city centre than I imagined. The room could have been warmer. The lesiure center was very disapointing. bathroom decor from 1970s, fixed showerhead not for tall people. Very limited bar food menu which forced you to use the rather more expensive restaurant unless you just wanted a sandwich. Our ordered twin room turned into a double room and couldn't be amended as the hotel was full. The receptionist was very helpfull so we didn't mind too much. Also some traffic noise even on the 4th floor- not too bad.would be great if more choice on evening menu. the shower was not the best. No. Overall the hotel was very good although a bit under expectation as to the accessibility and extent of the leisure facilities. Room was quite stuffy and too noisy from road to keep windows open through the night.
