We loved this hotel!! Location is very nice, less than 10 mins on foot. Breakfast was delicious! Good variety of menu. Staff is very helpful and friendly! Hotel provide free one picture in Balinese national costume (saron). They also teach how to dance Balinese dance and play national instrument. Our room was very comfortable with all facilities we needed. New hotel complex indonesia owned, we stayed in room 127 which is one of three closest ground floor rooms and directly outside is the food area and swimming pool, no walking across the complex for amenities. Good TV channels but WiFi is week. All room provate phone calls are charged, even if you do not connect to your phone number.
all reviews » Staff friendly and efficient. Great location, value for money. We always arrive on the midnight flight and stay at Tune as we only need a place to sleep before going to Ubud. It was fully booked so Horison seemed the obvious choice - modern, spacious rooms, clean and great rates. Will likely stay again on my way back. Really nice and luxurious hotel. My gf and i stayed here for two days and we were treated exceptionally by the staff. Beautifull rooms & pool! Beach is a +- 8 minute walk & the little shops were everywhere. If you need something, be sure to check with My man Eki! Terrific guy and his english is awesome!. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the bed was also big and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, a good selection, freshly cooked omelettes were tasty but the croissants were cold (minor thing). Overall a great place to stay for budget, location and service. Hotel was just finished few weeks before I checked in... Great clean rooms equiped with flatscreen, aircon & minibar. The pool water fall starts automatic at 8 am to 6 pm and is quite noisy close to main entry reception and food area. Seminyak is really touristic. We don't care much for that. The hotel itself is perfectly located for the young people who like to party. Walls are a little thin so you can hear other guests and staff on the hallway..... There were not a lot of sunbeds near the pool. Also the pool was sort of in the restaurant. Noisy corridors and housekeeping staff having loud conversations outside the rooms. Also discovered fecal stains on the mattress protector hidden underneath the bed sheets on the last day. Cleaning should be more thorough for bed linen and more consideration from the housekeeping staff in regards to noise could be improved. The hallways get very noisy at early morning hours ( people shouting, screeming and laughing) kinda annoying . Had to sleep with earplugs. There wasn't any gym and my room was rather dark. Also I had some problems with the wifi. Nothing we didn't like. There are no clocks/alarm clocks, or irons in the room. I happened to be in the room at the time of housecleaning-and the staff member cleaned the glasses and coffee mugs in the bathroom sink!! Not hygienic at all!!!. Lack of storage. No cupboard, drawers or wardrobe. Only a small open bar to hang clothes. Lack of lighting in bathroom. only a small led light over mirror. Difficult to shave. A female would have difficulty applying make up. A female (not in uniform and obviously some kind of manager) ordering staff around in not a particularly friendly manner in front of customers. She was a very surly nasty piece of work!!!. room with NO daylight and the Double Six Street is dangers area at the night. - a little bit far from the beach (about 10 minutes). Wifi requires login often, also partly weak Rooms to back offer no view at all, balcony not usable (too small) Rooms a bit dark for reading etc. Although there was a large variety to choose from at the breakfast buffet, I couldn't find much that I really liked. The hotel is a little too small and compact. The food that they served on buffet breakfast and in room dining is a bit terrible. I cant taste a thing on my tomyum soup. It's highly need improvement. Too few offers for excursions!. The lighting was a bit dim. Small pool area with little sun (pool view is $9/day extra); tiny balcony, slow internet. Swimming pool is located at main lobby beside dining area. Every guest gets to look at you in your swimming attire. Dimmed bathroom lights. None. Not much anything here. Slight communication problems with some of the staff at reception. Room had bad smell which we reported but nothing done. Sometimes noisy at night. No view from window, this is terrible, dark room number and no Internet. The view from the room, the parking space. Wifi. The juice at breakfast was terrible considering that there is all that beautiful fruit & they use preserved tetra pak juice. -. Very small room, very small balcony. Breakfast was good, but not real bacon :(. No direct sun light. pool just in front of th restaurant. Swimming Pool had zero privacy as it is at the entrance/exit of hotel. Also the restaurant patrons sit around it. The pool is not private at all and small, the rooms although nice are very small as is the bathroom. Breakfast was quite limited though the hot food selection wasnt bad. minimum facilities. I didn't Like coz of One of staf whose take a picture I think her name is Hani. She is very bad staf even she has good Face or prety. One reason can't get the pic coz Only One night stay? And very bad services from her. the pool too small. Grime in shower recess. Someone's vomit on foyer floor not cleaned up-my daughter slipped over in it and later that afternoon we both became sick. Staff did not even come and help as they witnessed her fall in it. the location. far from the beach 25 min walking , not easy to find the hotel in a narrow area , there is no cupboard for ur closes just keep them in your bag. Staff is very unpolite!.
