  The staff at Vatnsholt are so nice and helpful. There was a booking error so our original family room was not available but they made up for it with 2 beautiful adjacent rooms in a very nice building. The rooms were spotless and super comfortable. I loved the remodeled old barn which is a restaurant, lounge with comfy sofas, and conference center.... what people say » The owner has a flair for design using repurposed farm items to make beautiful light fixtures, tables and art. They offered horseback riding for the - Johann and Margrit are extremely friendly and helpful. The public area is a converted barn and is very tasteful, and a welcoming place to hang out, listen to music and use WiFi. They have a restaurant so you can have dinner there... The food was very good.
