The hotel was in a nice location with views of Lake Myvatn. We were
given a room with a partial lake view and when my husband asked if there
were any rooms with a full lake view, the proprietor had not problem
switching our room. The full lake view room was much smaller but had a
wonderful view of the lake. The hotel is very clean and the beds are
comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. all reviews »
the rooms were of a high standard with superb views ,the breakfast was excellent and the two receptionists/breakfast ladies were exceptional ,nothing was too much trouble for them.
Faultless place to stay - roomy, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, as is the location - views of the lake from room 21 were superb.

Spacious room, amazing views.
The only con to our stay at the hotel was the restaurant. We ordered
the "special" which was fish and chips. The fish was
partially frozen when I cut into it and the chips were a bit cold. Food
is very expensive in Iceland so I definitely think that could have been
executed better.

Shower would not get warm. Don't look under the bed- tons of dust bunnies (likely contributed to my allergy issues).
Very noisy radiator during the night, overpriced, very little selection at breakfast.
