  Great views of Mt Hekla. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Gave us great info about the area. Breakfast was fantastic! Curried herring, homemade blueberry yogurt, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, cereals, etc. Would definitely recommend. - This place was wonderful. We stay with a young and older child. We loved it!   We were hesitant to book because there were almost no reviews, but we're glad we did. It turned out that the reason was it had only been open a month. The hosts were extremely accommodating. They did their best to make sure we had everything we (and our young daughter) needed. Nicer than more expensive places we stayed at on the same trip. There ... what people say » is a large greenhouse practically next door where we bought fresh strawberries and raspberries. There is a swimming pool walking distance away. - It was such an amazing stay! The house feels so homey. it is beautifully built and decorated, with many thoughtful details. It was by far the most memorable place we stayed at in Iceland. The couple who owns it is very nice and kind. The wife cooked us a tasteful breakfast even though we were the only guests staying there that night. This is definitely a great choice for travelers!

  The Galleri was very easy and once inside it was so warm and cosy with underfloor heating. The decor was so individual and immaculate. We had a patio door in our bedroom through which we watched the Aurora Borealis on our first night! We had a lovely continental breakfast with delicious homemade waffles. The breakfast is served in the coffee shop/... what people say » gallery which is great fun and its good coffee! The owners were away but a huge thank you to your daughter and neighbour who looked after us and made - The personal touches in the room and bathroom were beautiful. The location is stunning, sitting in the bedroom looking at snowcapped mountains made that part of the holiday. Also the little gallery attached sold really nice local art and objects and had a nice cafe attached. For the money we thought this place was amazing.

  The host is simply fantastic! Friendly, good conversation, interesting person, helpful! Animals around the house! Two kittens, rabbits in the fields around, etc. Great position on the Golden Circle, but away from the masses. Feels like rural Iceland... And it is. The host is starting up an organic farming business!
