  Shaun and the people who work at the Laxnes cant do enough for you. We had to change plans a number of times and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us great advice on the things to do and more importantly what not to do in terms of paying far too much for taxis and how to use the transport system. Local knowledge goes an awful long way. The h... what people say » otel has everything you require for a great stay and the room we had was much better than rooms I have paid twice as much for in what are reportedly 5 - Hotel Laxnes is set in beautiful surroundings and we had an excellent stay there in October 2013! The staff is very kind and helpful, hotel was very clean with an excellent service! It feels homely and it is beautifully decorated! Very close to all local amenities! Would highly recommend it! Thanks to Shaun and all staff for making our holiday so amazing!

  While on the main shopping street, it was relatively quiet. Also within walking distance to everything within the downtown area. It had all the appliances needed to cook your own dinner or just warm up a pizza or leftovers from a local restaurant.
