  The new owner was really kind to us. We were on our honeymoon and he made our stay extra comfortable. He was also willing to let us know if the northern lights came out, which they did a little while we were there. It's a good place to see them as the hotel is just over the bridge from Borgarnes, so there is not much light pollution. I stayed at the hotel with a couple of people who don't like fish. They were persuaded to try it - there comments: "this is the best meal I have ever had", "it doesn't even taste like fish".

  Beautiful house right on the coast. We stayed in the front room downstairs. The room was large and comfortable with fantastic views of the sea. The shared bathroom was clean and available. The breakfast was very good and the views from the dining room are spectacular. We ate dinner at a local restaurant serving Philipine food and it was ... what people say » very good and reasonable with friendly, welcoming owner/server and within walking distance of the B&B. - The B&B is located next to the shore in Borgarnes. The stuff were very helpful, in was nice rooms and an excellent breakfast. The kids loved it - they had newly made panncakes. The best stay we had on our seven days driving round Iceland!

  It was nice that the place was outside of Borgarnes, as there wasn't much to do there anyway. The room was fine, with a small area to use the stovetop and sink. It also had a fridge.   Comfortable place, with the feel of a mountain hut (a lot of wood). I had a room with a very nice view over the golf course and the mountains. Went for a good breakfast to the nearby hotel. - Small but comfortable rooms in a beautiful setting. The nearby hotel had a nice restaurant. Very close to a good size town.
