Rooms are really nice, but you also get food all day till 21:00 and drink.Staff are so helpful and go out of there way to make your stay a memorable visit to Budapest.   Judit, who checked me in, was very generous with city information, suggestions and directions. She should be commended. The staff in general are all attentive and client oriented. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive and tasty. - It was fabulous! We really enjoyed ourseves. The hotel is really stylish.

  Fabulous Hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms spotless. In an excellent location 5 minutes walk from the Opera House, 5 minutes to main shopping area. We got excellent value as we were staying for more than 4 nights. We forgot some of our items in the room when leaving hotel and discovered it only on the train station. Hotel staff urgently arranged them and the driver delivered them to us to the train station some minutes before our train departure.

  The hotel is fabulous. So comfortable, clean and has a really luxurious feel. The staff are so friendly, especially in the bar and restaurant. In fact I would say that the friendliness of the staff was one of the main highlights of our stay at the Meridien.   The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. Queries via e-mail were responded promptly. They have a reasonably priced parking 20 meters from the hotel. We were pleased that they allowed us to leave the car in the parking lot a few more hours after check-out at no extra charge.   Wow! What a gem of a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at how fabulous this hotel is... everything from the location, decor to the staff service. It certainly added to our experience of Budapest. Make sure you ask them to book all your tours, etc. They have great suggestions and ideas - and the prices were more than reasonable. A stunning design hotel with a special feel. The bed was the most comfortable we've slept in and the quality of the bathroom, and large bath, was a real treat.   We used the hotel whilst visiting the Hungarian Air Show. We werepicked up on arrival, transferred to/from the station next day (we usedthe train to get to Kecskemet). Day 3 they again transferred us toFerihegyi Station for our transfer into Budapest. All this for free -and with a smile!!!! What a service!!!! The concierge service was excellent, helped us book tickets for a boat cruise and recommended a restaurant that was excellent. We could not fault this hotel and will be sure to try and stay here when we visit this wonderful city again. We have already told all our friends how good Continental Hotel Zara was!
