  The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was of the highest standard and the large balcony with a lake view was a big bonus! I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.   It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time. The breakfast room was in a beautiful... what people say » vaulted cellar, and we were offered fresh-cooked cheese omelets. There did not appear to be other restaurants close by, but we had a very nice dinne - Great location.We loved Tata. We were on the first floor and both of our rooms were large. We enjoyed several wonderful meals at the restaurant.

It was a very relaxing place to stay and it is a great location for walking around and shopping and close to lots of food choices. - Friendliness of desk staff, breakfast.
