  I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Ferienhaus Apartmanház Zalánki in Eger, Hungary. Eger, a city of 57, 000 people, abounds with historical and natural attractions. A bus ride from Budapest (Stadion Metro station) to Eger takes only two hours. While Eger's central area crowded with locals and tourists filled me with liveliness and excitement, this pi - The travelers who find themselves in this garden spot will consider themselves lucky. Fabulous apartment with gorgeous terrace and spectacular view over the old town. Need a car to access but in a very upscale neighborhood high above the city. The host is a charming gentleman who speaks perfect English and serves you wine from his own vineyard which is very good. Apt has everything you could need and lots of room. I hated to leave and would love to return.

  Very helpful staff, and moderately good English speaker, which helped. The restaurant she recommended was very good and again a nice value. The rooms were very clean, pleasant, well accommodated and a very reasonable value. It was a 14 minute walk into town, which was acceptable. I highly recommend this place. - the owners were fantastic, bent over backwards to please us and I would deffinately stay there again if the occasion arose.

  This was an apartment/hotel so breakfast was not included. It was still good value. The apartment was quaint and comfortable and we made use of the kitchen facilities. We were very happy with the location but for some it might have been a bit noisy with people outdoors below enjoying themselves. It was clean, the staff super friendly, ridiculously cheap, and it was in a great location. I loved it here!

  Very good located. On the hill, close to everywhere - castle, swimming pool, restaurants... Room is large and good equipped. Spa area is nice - sauna + jacuzzi for 8 people. I especially recommend breakfast. Typical Hungarian. Salami and... Lesco with scrabble eggs. And something else, also warm. I don't know what it was, but test it also.
