  Hotel ideally situated in central Budapest in a quiet area but within 5 minutes you were in the buzz of the city. Hotel also located very close to two metro stations making getting around Budapest easy. Hotel had bags of character with it's 20's and 30's style. Breakfast fantastic and set you up for the day. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming... what people say » and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. - The hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful, especially for first time visitors to Budapest. The rooms were great with style and comfort and the basement restaurant was superb too. Location was also great within a 2 minute walk of the train station.

  We booked 2 studio's for a family city trip. Which happened to be a perfect choice for this purpose. Spacious rooms with all necessary comfort, soundproof (provided that the windows are closed) and clean. The free WiFi deserves a special mention: perfect quality everywhere (router/AP in 1 of the 2 rooms we booked)! We didn't try the swimming po... what people say » ol, spa and fitness facilities (lack of time), but we could see that they were used by many guests which may be a good indicator for the quality. The - Exellent location (5 minutes walk to Okrogon metro and fast tram stations; 10 minutes walk to St. Istvan Cathedral). Lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. Very clean room with new furniture and all necessary equipment (big refrigerator, oven, teapot, hair fan etc.) We stayed here for week and category of our room was upgraded - that's why we lived in 2-room apartments. Our windows faced the internal yard - that's why it was a silence (though, on Friday night you can hear screams from night club
