The location was excellent although not clear we were in right place as no sign & scaffolding &place looks derelict the apartment was clean, had just what u need but no cork screw. A real taste of Hungarian living the apartment was in a block of flats, though didn't look good from outside was lovely inside. Great location, close to lovely restaurants, tourist attractions and even the true Hungarian parts of Budapest. Beautiful rooms, old building with in need of a renovation but with a lot of history. Perfect price. Good mail contact before arriving. Free WiFi in the appartment.
all reviews » The owner was very cooperative and kept waiting for us even though we arrived pretty late in the night. The inside of the apartment was exactly as it is in the picture....nice, and clean. The location is very near the Freedom Bridge, and the river. very good location great value for the money pls be aware this is not a hotel, so there is no reception - call the owner prior to your arrival to arrange meeting Also, note there is no possibility to pay by card, but you can pay in EUR. The friendlyness of the owner, he took very good care for us, he was all the time to reach if we had a Problem, the very nice appartment, clean and nice, the place in the really centre of the City, the charming old house, everything. The hotel was right in the center of Budapest. The famous "Gellért" and the Central Market Hall (Nagy Vasarcsarnok) were very close. The accommodation was cheap and everything was new. I strongly encourage the Riverside City. Nice place, a few steps from Metro 3, vaci ut and Raday utca.Friendly and helpful owner - thanks Sz.:). Clean room with comfortable beds, fridge and all needed stuff:). it was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and pillows:) perfect location - close to the metro and shopping&restaurants. It's location is fantastic. Oll very good!. We arrived 10pm and no one there to meet us even though id emailed flight details and arrival time to owner. We had to ask Hungarian local to phone him as we had no reception on uk phone. Surely its the responsibility of the owner to ensure we get access not for us to chase him. The WiFi did not work on the computer, if we would have known before we left home we would have brought a computer with us. Not so soundproof, could hear the neighbors through the wall in the hallway. And We were expecting a little more view than a ventilationschaft, the other apartment had a view of the courtyard. Nothing really. The building is old, the lift is old, and one can't see river from the apartment, but that is why the price is also so low given the location and facilities. only one small towel per person available. We had some troubles with the bathroom and the wi-fi connection but were immediately fixed by the stuff. There is no big knife in the "kitchen" for cutting melons, paprika and tomatoes:) and should be some hook in the bathroom for clothes:). you should call them just when you arrive and arrange the time for the meeting, were the host will forward you the keys. We had to wait for him for half an hour. thw window goes out to the shady inner garden, it's always dark in the room. No one came and let us even though we were accurate at the time we announced via email. We had to call and wait for the lessor within 20 minutes. Horrible entrance, dark and smelled like mold. No one changed the towels or emptied trash at the five days we stayed there. a bit cold sometimes.
