Fabulous Hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms spotless. In an excellent location 5 minutes walk from the Opera House, 5 minutes to main shopping area. We got excellent value as we were staying for more than 4 nights. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going for a break to the beautiful city of Budapest.

It was very expensive for drinks or to eat in but this did not cause a problem as it is so central and there is a huge choice right outside your door.

Concierge service is great!!! We forgot some of our items in the room when leaving hotel and discovered it only on the train station. Hotel staff urgently arranged them and the driver delivered them to us to the train station some minutes before our train departure.

The position

Very small double rooms with no space to move or sit for two

No sign on the hotel from outside, difficult to recognize.

Upon arrival, the hotel did not have a non-smoking double-room available as originally requested. Consequently we were forced to upgrade to a "smoking" junior suite at an extra EUR 60 per night cost (we had to bargain down from the extra EUR 80 they originally wanted). They were not very flexible in helping to find a solution to their error.

The food was horrible, the wireless internet did not worked as stated inyour advertisement. Worst of all the hotel is surrounded by prostitutesboth in the lobby, bars and outside at nighttime. They hassle the guestswith the approval of staff. The staff even give them free drinks andconverse with them as friends.
