The Owner was really friendly and helpful. We had our luggage stored upon arrival early in the morning and also managed to store our luggage before departure. The location of the building was EXCELLENT! it is right in the middle of the city and travelling around Budapest was easy due to the location - pubs and bars and tourist attractions were just a few minutes walk away. Overall, I'd definitely stay in this place if I were to visit Budapest again!.

Quite easy to find even there is no sign at the address that tells it is Danube Bridge Apartment House, but just give the owner a call and he will get down to the gate at once. You are right next to the St. Stephen Basilica, and in the heart of a thriving restaurant district. The owner is incredibly friendly, and let us store our suitcases past checkout in the room. This is THE MOST affordable hotel I've stayed at in Europe. The size of the apartment at the location it is in for 38 Euro is incredible. apartment was very clean and well equiped .Also was in an excellant location for all the sight seeing in Budapest. This apartment is centrally located and just walking distance from most attractions (Hop On Hop Off bus, the Danube river cruise, others). The house is cute and can accomodate 4-5 persons. Be warned that some of the apartments are up long flights of stairs, and there is no elevator. It is a little confusing to find the exact place because we were not informed to ring which room number at the gate. The label only shows the name of housekeeper, not the name of apartment. Parking is payable and quite expensive (if you drive your car here). No elevator is a bit challenging for elder people as our apartment is on the 2nd floor. Payment is cash only. We soon run out of toilet paper (it was definitevely not enough for a 5-people 3-nights-long stay) and we didn't know how to get in touch with the owner (we had his number but calling him for such a thing seemed stupid); the followig day, while checking out, we disovered that he lives in the very same building. However, since everything else was perfect, we have really nothing to complain about. The sound insulation can improve. Hard to find. not suitable for "cooking" family there is no real kitchen. internet didnt work bathroom was not convinient. problems with parking. it is nearly not possible to ind place on the sreet and anyhow it is not free. garage is very close but 30euro per day or 2euro per hour. Nothing to add. nothing. You can't find the housekeeper easy if you don't have a phone. the apartment was very old and inside the building doesn't seem safe. Outside View, Unable to get quick connectivity / Communication with owner. Very poor facilities and comfort. The beds were like taken from a bad hospital, sheets and towels very old and used, this is not an apartment to be used for renting to travelers. bedbugs in the beds. Do not be surprised if a single room..!!.
