The apartment was very spacious, very clean and comfortable like home from home. The staff were very very friendly and accommodating, they organised all our transfers to and from the hungexpo (we were there for World Dog Show) and airport, they were so accommodating in every way even to taking delivery of the Tesco on line shopping order that I placed from Ireland for delivery in Budapest. Totally fantastic service nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent accommodation First class staff.
all reviews » The staff was very friendly, to begin with. I had problems with my card when i made the reservation and they were nice and didn't make a big problem about this. The apartments were in the center, so close to everything and very very spacious and comfortable. They have everything you might need including an ironing machine and a hairblower and all sorts of stuff in the kitchen. We were very surprised we could get such a nice place, with such a good location with what we thought was a low price. Staff were excellent, always helpful regarding any information we needed. Really good service in the fact that we could purchase tickets for everything direct from recption for example metro, baths, bus tours etc... Apartment was large and clean and came equipped with all amenities. Apartments are within walking distance of the centre. Price was very reasonable. I would recommend Corvin Plaza to anyone looking to travel to Budapest. The three roomed apartment we stayed in was great, had everything you need, for a nice price. We liked the huge living room very much. Besides this, the bedrooms was great as well as a soft comfortable beds. The location is not central, but the metro station is next to the apartments so you can get downtown in 10 minutes. You will not find better value for money anywhere in Europe (I mean, big tourist site or capital city). It's wonderful: new,beautiful,quiet,close to central spots.Metro is 4 minutes away,number 9 bus just next to entrance takes you in 4 stops to Deak Ferenc Ter. recently renovated apartment, with 2 good bedrooms, large living/kitchen, good bathroom, small terrace. Well equipped (bed linen, towels, pot&pans), wifi, TV and DVD reader. Good price for value. Not exactly in the center, but it can be reached very quickly. The decoration of apartment is very new and full equipment . Although the apartment is not in the city's center , but It is just 3 Metro station to the center . The apartment suitable people who like quite environment . The apartment was spacious, well furnished and had everything needed for a "home from home". Very close to buses and trams which made travelling around the city really easy. The fact that I broke a couple of bones in my food while in Ireland and could not join my friends on the trip. Towels were not replaced daily. nothing relevant, but for sure the bad smell at main entrance is not a good welcome (the garbage deposit is next to the entrance door). TV is difficult to switch on . - Mattress didn't have a mattress protector, not hygienic. - Not enough linen, blankets etc. - Parking on street was tough at times. Air conditioning is Eur 8 per day extra. Wifi in my room was not working properly most of my stay. not enough pillows. there was no airco in the booked appartment while temp was very hot (ca 40°C)outside - fortunately the temp in the app remains relatively cool - only after 2 weeks it was getting warm. The internet didn't work well. air conditioning for a fee, and in the summer is essential, view from the window into the courtyard. It was very hot during our stay, while one of the bedrooms did not have AC (the living room and the other bed room did). The two family members in the room without AC found it hard to sleep because of the heat. The apartment was cold! In my opinion, the central heating wasn't strong enough to keep the place warm!. The extra charge for the ac was weird for us, we did not pay it. We didn't had a balcony and the parking was expensive but we knew the price. Parking lot was a bit expensive. floors were dirty,so it was not nice to but our baby to the floor. Nothing. At arival in the appartment was not worm, in the morning it was all right. Expensive parking. Parking price is a little high. 5 to 10 Euro may be the right price. Extra pillows would be welcomed ;). One apartment had damp on a bedroom wall. parking expensive(15 eur). - the only negative / parking is too expensive + there might be problems to park under the building with bigger cars. The price is a bit high for the overall atmosphere. You can get much better appartments in Budapest for that price. Part of the staff is not able to communicate,only Hungarian, the night shift staff creates more problems,than actualy nelping to solve existing ones. We were givent tel.No from Corvin Plazza staff to order pizzas which never arrived ?? There are NO telephones in the appartments,so one can not use land lines for local calls only mobiles in roaming ?? Cleaning is just ocasional and formal,much to be improved as cleanness. The parking is to expensive 15e. In order to use air conditioning you need to pay a deposit of 50 Euro and an additional cost of 8 euro per day. When we came to the apartment it was not cleaned and we were given another one (very bad first impression). Apartment was cold (you could feel cold wind blowing through the front door) and there was only a thin blanket on the beds, when we asked for another blanket, the receptionist told us we can get it in the morning (you must be kidding me). Beside this, the apartment looks new but cheaply decorated with uncomfortable beds. No character. It was very unpersonal. What made it even more unpersonal was the extra fee of 25e for checking out an hour later and the extra fee for checking in early. This doesnt come accross as very hospitable and isnt a great start after a long journey when you just want to lay down asap. The view of the courtyard is also very uninspiring. Actually the photos are more beautiful than in fact. The apartment isn't comfortable. Walls are dirty, the blanket as thin as the sheet of paper, the sofa is awful, heating works only several hours a day and so it's rather cold at nihgt. the breakfast time is from 9:00-12:00, i must left to office before 9am, so i reture the food ticket to reception, and don't eat breakfast. but finally they ask me to pay for it and do not told me i must pay for it. check out take 20mins. the reception was not friendly. Clumsy personnel, dirty rooms, uncomfortable beds, very expensive for such a low quality place. we was on the world dog show there for 3 nights instead of 4 nights. one female dog 7 months with a lot of energy unfortunately destroyed the sofa and did a little pee on matraze. they now abused me to pay 1000€ for a new bed, matraze, sofa and to repaint the room, because they say a dog peeing on the wall. my male dog is 2 1/2 months old and still have no idea how to pee like a man dog. 1000€ is ridiculus.
