Elena, one of the owners, was warm and welcoming. She made our stay very enjoyable. We had a lovely big deck to relax on after sightseeing. The location was convenient and on a quiet street. Our hosts were very friendly and generous. The terrace was nice as well as the location...right in the old town. A bit noisy at night. Hard to find parking and it was at location in old town that you could not access by car. If you have a lot of luggage etc, this is a bit of a problem. Beaches near Rethymno town aren't so great. Need car to go to south Rethymno for nice beaches or to Chania.
