Beautiful views, and so much outdoor space! Huge rooftop patio with great seating, along with many smaller patios and balconies throughout. We basically had a private patio and gorgeous balcony with lounge chairs to ourselves because it was right outside our room, but anyone could have used it. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is located 15-20 minute walking distance from the town center (uphill) but the view is worth it. The breakfast was very good. The cookies and cakes were especially decicious!! The hotel offered free transfer to and from the port which was very convenient. Yiannis and Filo who run this place are right friendly and helpful. They had time to talk a bit, Yiannis picked us up from ferry and took us to airport. Hotel is right clean, breakfast was good, there are comfy places to sit out with stunning views of the town and sea. Having a fridge is useful. Right good greengrocers about 300yds up the hillside above. It was peaceful. We are travelling to Mykonos 4-5 times per season and tried out from pensions to 5* hotels and this Ibiscus Hotel is by far the best value for money hotel on the island. Wifi didn't work well in my room, mostly clean but a few long dark hairs on my pillowcase upon checking in. We were only there for 1 night, so I cannot really say that there was anything that I didn't like. Windy as the hotel is located at the top of the hill. It is not sign posted very well so slightly difficult to locate. up the hill a little bit hard to walk and find.if u have a car its better. the WiFi connection was not always available inside my room. Wish there was a pool. Could nt fault. The massive steep hill leading up to the hotel... a cable car would be a great help... The wind ... The long walk back to the hotel (hiring a scooter or ATV is necessary). A step hill to walk back from the town, calf muscles were as tight as a drum after the couple of days we stayed there. Many mosquito. Need to climb up a steep slope to hotel. Too expensive The path to the town have a big slope. We were supposed to be picked up on arrival but hotel "forgot' about it. Too far out of town, very steep hill to get to and no map of town offered and no help offered in getting around. Fridge did not work and neither did Wi Fi in the room. Would not recomment it especially for mature couple like us. The room that we booked was not available. We booked a room with a balcony, sea view and AC. Ended up in a bigger room, but in the basement/groundfloor, with no AC, balcony nor seaview. Got a poor excuse that the previous guest was ill and did not want to move...
