The staff at the Golden Star really made this trip. They could not do enough for you and everyone from the front desk to the bar staff made our holiday perfect. The rooms were extremely clean, you get fresh towels everyday and the bins etc get emptied twice a day, which is a real must in Greece! The facilities at the hotel and the breakfast were also much better than I expected, I couldn't reccomend it enough.
all reviews » Location was very nice. 5 mins walk up the hill from Mykonos town. My advise is rent a 4wheel bike(buggy), it is very useful. Loved the staff, super friendly. View was amazing. Room was as good as it can get in mykonos, its not a town where u should expect 5 stars luxurious rooms, so relative to other hotels in Mykonos, rooms were quiet good. The hotel is placed in a very convenient position, is just 10 min by car from de airport and 3 blocks from Mykonos city center, the hotel swimingpool view to the see is magnificent, you can see the sunset from the balcony of your room, ah the staff of the hotel is very friendly. What a beautiful hotel this is, overlooking Mykonos and the ocean. The staff are so friendly, and offered to clean our room twice a day. Breakfast every morning was great. Really a wonderful hotel!. Everything. It was roomy, lovely public areas, excellent bar and barman, very welcoming and helpful family run hotel. Spotlessly clean Plenty of room for belongings. Good pool views. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room are clean, they even changed the towel twice a day. Very central to old town, beautiful view of the sea and surroundings. Perfect stay!. Very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful view, easy access to Mykonos centrum and connections to the beaches. Comfortable rooms with view. Great location, great staff, clean and confortable...we spent 7 days in Mykonos and everithing was Great!!. Wonderful hotel, staff are supereb and friendly, always clean. staff hospitality and location. Perfect all was perfect. The only downside to the Golden Star is that it is halfway up a rather steep hill. Its a little daunting at night when there is only a small slither of pavement to walk up. That said, it was only a minor thing and didn't have any impact on our wonderful stay there. No tea facilities in room. Breakfast time should be extended to 12 pm as its hard to wake up early after a hard partying night. Nothing!. We liked everything about the hotel itself. even the walk up to the hill to get to it was OK. Nothing. The Breakfast..No much of varieties!!.
