Location of the Kastraki itself, also the Bloutsos Rooms are breath taking. You will stay in the beautiful village right under the magnificent Metheora mountains! The hosts are very very hospitable and cheerful. This is quite a good place to stay for a night or two to visit Metheora, not really suitable for longer holidays. Location is great, in the base of Meteora. Owners are ready to help you with everything you need to. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast is 'basic' but enough. The price is very good. We recommend your location at least for a stay of two days. One day is a bit too little to visit across the region and monasteries..
all reviews » - Excellent location - Very friendly owner(s), owners told us where we should be during the sunset etc and they speak excellent English! - Breakfast was simple but good enough(warm bread, cheese, ham, coffee, thea, jam, boiled egg, honey and some local cookies!) - Rooms were small but comfortable. The hotel is in the center of the village. It is a cozy house with 3 guest rooms on the ground floor. Room has a nice size, bathroom not big. The owners are a very nice and friendly couple. Breakfast is very abundant and good, specially the homemade cake, delicious. nice breakfast, frinedly owner, good price, decoration of the room was so pretty. Room was really excellent. it feeled like home during my hard journey, and the room was also clean enough! Also nice location to visit mteora i really recommend here !!. Quiet room, very helpful owners, filling breakfast. We felt taken care of and were given all the information we needed, perfect location for walks, restaurant and small village life, and close to the monasteries, very easy. This place was truly amazing! My sister and I stayed there for two nights and had the best time. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful, the location is just perfect, and the views superb. Location is very good. - Not a lot of parking space. make sure you have some Mosquito repellant when you go. Too many free sweets and we had no self control ;). We had little problem finding our accommodation. For all of those who will be guests here, Bloutsos is at the center of Kalampaka, towards the church, first right turn before the gas station. From the point of view of facilities, the bathroom was poorly separated from the room by a plastic sliding folding door which affects privacy in the toilet room. Nothing!. Small bathroom without normal door. Room furnishing was a bit outdated. Our bathroom only had a harmonica door, but it is no biggie. Hard to get the location. bathroom. Small bathroom, limited view to rocks. Bath room is very small. The door of bath room is plastic. You can hear everything. TV is very old and small and channel is very limited.
