Staffs are super friendly and helpful all the time. On the last day before we left, we went downstairs to get some food (at about 9 in the night). Staff told us the restaurant were closed but they would like to ask the kitchen if they can make some food for us (from the hotel next to Ariston). Surprisingly, they made it !!!! I was so impressed :) Also, rooms are nice and clean. It is not too far from the metro. Recommend for group of friends, couples, families.
all reviews » the staff is very kind and most welcoming. we realy enjoyed staying there. before booking this hotel we were a little worried about the area. but there we had no problem, and never bumped into any strange people. except for that the real benefit of the hotel is that also it's in the centre of athens, it is lockated just next to a metro station, and it takes no more than 5-7 minutes to go from there to all the main sites of the city. The location is so very good. It's only a 1-minute walking from the Larrisa Train station and metro, very convenient if you arrives Athens late by train. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is at the corner of the main road, the room is not very noisy during the night given that our room was facing the road. Good location if you plan a trip to Kalambaka, very close to the train station. The breakfast is okay enough. The staffs are friendly and helpful, I keep luggage before my check-in days for few days, as I have an island trip, and acceptable for this service. Room are clean, and wifi is fast!. We booked this place because it's close to the train station and we have an early train the next day. But it's also very close to the center and well connected with the public transportation system. The bathing room design is little bit strange, the seat just behind the door, is easy to hit it. The bathing curtain just touch the floor, if longer is better, as the water sill spit out. Room#51. The room was a bit small and breakfast wasn't great but wasn't terrible either. The area was a bit dodgy. Equipment in bathroom (shower curtain and other valves and accessoires) need to be replaced. Noisy street facing the balconies, so that you might have problems sleeping with windows open (air- conditioning works though). Noisy location and view of the main road but as we were only there for one night this did not bother us as it was great value for money. It is a bit noisy at night if your rooms gets to the street. The breakfast is poor. I lived in Room 42, I'd rather like Room Room 51 more, because this room always noisy at night, easy to heard the others room customers walking or bathing. This room have a bath, you can sit to soak a while for relax, but not easy to stand in it if you need to shower, be careful when you stand inside the bath. The room is a little small. A bit noisy. The breakfast is not great, it's all right if you book it online for 3.5 euros but if you pay at the hotel for 5 euros, it's not worth it. The area around Larissis train station/metro stop is not exactly a happening place. road noise. The neighborhood is not so good, but we had no problems. The room is too small, a little bit noisy of the room by the street. The lift is narrow and slow. -- a noisy street. Nothing. a little noisy, not too good air conditioning- the heating system of the air conditioning doesn't work but no problem if going in summer time because the cool system works very fine. No major problems, a little noisy from street trafic. The design of room is not quite good especially the bathroom which looks old and a little bit dirty. just wish it was little closer to everything so you could walk but could take the metro wish is close by!. For the money i paid nothing was negative. Shower hose was broken with sharp components. Small room. Poor breakfast. Nothing. Very small room and the bathroom without ventilation. Poor WiFi bandwidth. Breakfast very basically - nothing worm to eat (except tea/coffee/milk). - Though it is quite good for this cost the hotel is still quite old and not very clean. - Shower holder in my room was broken. - Breakfast takes place in the lobby that is not really convenient - it's quite noisy at night. next to main road, too much noisy even with all door closed. Small room. small bathroom.
