Your custim of providing an apple at the front desk is excellent, but if one returns later in the evening there are none there. Parking. Not just the hotel, but generally the poor knowledge of the englishlanguage in this section of germany (sachsen). Parking (the hotel should have a special agreement with the private parking next to the hotel). Internet access was expensive. the housekeepers routinely ignore the "do not disturb" hanger on the door, and walk in anyway; the shower is directly visible from the door. The hotel was a bit cheap on the products - one tiny soap and the shampoo/body gel. The used soap was not replaced. bit pricey. We are not duvet people, but we can only say that we sweated profusely under the duvets. And it would have been nice to have had, on TV, an English language alternative to CNN. the fact that there was no complimentary tea tray in the room and no swimming pool in the hotel.

Built in 1913, this magnificent building originally hosted the Grand Hotel. One of the city’s oldest hotels, it boasts a charming Art Nouveau façade and has been part of the Seaside chain since 1995.

The elegant spa area features white marble, wicker chairs, and palm trees which create a welcoming Mediterranean ambience. Relax in the Jacuzzi or unwind in the infra-red cabin.

The hotel’s 6 seminar and conference rooms boast different sizes and can seat between 10 and 140 people. You will also find a separate foyer and gallery.
