  Anne and Bertrand are very welcoming and charming hosts. My son was not well on arrival and they were really helpful in giving me directions to the hospital in Amboise. The house, the room, and the grounds were beautiful and very peaceful - a wonderful place to relax. A wholesome breakfast in the garden each day was a lovely way to start the day... what people say » ! My son and I enjoyed the pool before venturing out again in the evenings and we found the local restaurant in Vouvray very satisfactory, with no boo - Terrific hosts, Anne and Bertrand made our stay so nice and comfortable, made wonderful dining recommendations and even helped us when a problem developed. It is a beautiful historic building with our room being so spacious that it had a living room area. A brand new bathroom appointed with state of the art fixtures. Breakfast was a treat each day (we stayed 4 days) and the tabs was so we set that we had to take pictures! We look forward to a return visit so we can stay in one of their two ne

  Corinne was a fabulous hostess. Setting was lovely well decorated and a pleasant change from more typica decors. The semi troglodyte was fascinating. Great home cooked buffet breakfast. - Location is great, close to all Loire Valley attractions, castles, vineyards and so on. Host is wonderful, everything is clean, breakfast is excellent

Located in a quiet countryside village about a 15 minute drive from Amboise, it is perfectly situated for exploring the Loire Chateau country as well as discover some of the excellent wineries in the area. The 1st floor had a great den/seating area with comfortable chairs and a couch fronted by - We loved this accommodation from the moment we arrived. Met by smiling Anna who immediately showed us everything in our accommodation. We stayed in the 2 storey. Self contained with everything that you could possibly need. The upstairs attic bedroom was large and so pretty. Anna has gone to great lengths with the interior design and it is perfect! We used this as a base for 6 nights and visited all towns/villages nearby. Definitely a 5 star rating. Congratulations Anna! Chris and Rob, Aust

  The place just feels amazing. Its hard to pinpoint it but something about it makes you feel more at home than in your own home. The entire place feels like its yours the entire time. The breakfasts are absolutely unbeatable - great coffee, amazing bread (multigrain, croissants, whole weat, baguette... name it). The staff are amazing, kind, helpful... what people say » . Anytime I'm in France I'll come back here. - les perce neige provided us with a typical French environment and was extremely peaceful. The room was extremely comfortable - excellent bathroom and provided plenty of room as were were a party of 3. The breakfast was of a high quality - excellent coffee and the owner was available to answer any questions and advise on restaurants in the area. Very good value for money.
