We stayed here for our 8th anniversary and first trip to Provence. We have traveled quite a bit around Europe and there were a couple of things we really enjoyed about this hotel. (We stayed in one of the bungalows, not the main house.) The entire estate was well cared-for and very clean. The room was a nice size with a comfortable full-sized bed, not two beds jammed together. The bathroom was a full-sized bathroom. We even had an air-conditioning unit that was not loud and worked quite well.

There is a very large free car park that is manned, with a free shuttle bus that takes you into the centre of Avignon. one-and-a-half miles from the hotel. The hotel is run by a family, you get all the attention you look for. Nice swimmingpool with super terrace and lounge chairs . We stayed in the house with nice antiques, the room we had was superb . The restaurant is faboulous with fresh food, worth a michelin bibendum!!. Very enjoyable stay. Met all our requirements and the staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet, peaceful surroundings with useful and safe parking. No complaints. Very friendly host. Good location - close to Avignon, but out of the hustle and bustle. Comfortable room. Swimming pool is a bonus. Breakfast ok. Quiet location, easy access to the centre of Avignon (even with bicycle), the restaurant has a really good kitchen, this was an eyeopener for us. Very nice host, we got a bigger room (actually two rooms instead of one) because of our 1-year-old, which made much more comfortable for us. Living in the main house at the hotel was very charming. The food at the restaurant was delichious. The town Villeneuve was very charming, clean and with nice lunch/dinner opportunities. Very convenient for a stop and visit Avignon. Friendly personal. The Wi-Fi signal did not extend to the bungalows, but it was possible to use the Wi-Fi signal from the main house. We had a villa in the garden with a patio and table and chairs. Being English we do look for the sun and found it a little shaded for our taste because of the mature trees. There's very weak signal in our room. The place is a little far from Avignon center if you don't have a car and there's not a lot of choices for food in walkable distance. Breakfast could do with being ore for the money. Wifi weak. Air conditioning was very weak and did not cool fast enough on a very hot day >36C. A bit far off from center Avignon. The swimmingpool area needed a fresh up. We found some bugs in the room although we kept door and windows completly closed. Not big issue but clean should be deeper in this regard.
