The hotel is older but recently renovated and the facilities were very good. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. While the hotel is a little way from the city centre, it is only about a 10 minute walk away. There are some small restaurants close by but you need to explore a bit to find them. There is a large supermarket just across the road. The location meant that it was nice and quiet during the evening. There is no lift, so if you are unable to walk up stairs or carry heavy bags up.

Rooms well appointed and very comfortable bed with a duvet! Close to the beautiful and interesting City centre. Excellent and friendly attention from the staff. An older style family hotel with French charm and elegance, rather than the plastic cubicles of modern hotels. This is the France I know and love! Would certainly stay here for future visits. Friendly owner called in advance to provide with entrance code to the building because we were late. Wi-Fi was ok on 2nd floor. Modern bathroom. Very comfortable bad. Excellent for those who are visiting castles to make stop for one night. A very pleasant building in Rabalais Place more or less in central Tours and close to a good sized super market .The bedrooms are pleasant andwith a nice bathroom and thje breakfast is adequate. Plan of Tours and explanation of areas of interest on arrival. the staff are nice, try their best to provide me information. the wifi speed is good, but sometimes cannot be connected, may be because i was staying at the corner of the hotel. The stairs are made from wood one century ago - imagine the sound. For rooms that are close to stairs it can be a problem. There is no lift so if you are on a higher floor it is most difficult to lug your bags up to your room. Hard to fault. i was stayed at the top floor, which the ceiling was quite low on one side of the room, but it was okay for one person. Stairs. No English channels on TV. Long walk to restaurants, wifi performance was spotty. We thought there would be a free public parking space. There were parking spaces, but they don't belong to the hotel and as they were all taken, we couldn't put our car close to the hotel. No tea and coffee making facilities in room. There was no facility to make tea or coffee in our room. Carrying cases up three flights of stairs, breakfast a bit restricted. No kettle in the room so I couldn't have a cup of tea!. WiFi unstable, signal very poor from the second floor. Not very close to the Vieux Tours area, but only a short drive and we found parking. The rooms are sparsely furnished with no cupboards. The room security is poor - simple keys which you have to leave on a board at the bottom of the stairs where all the guests can pick them up!. no coffee making facilities. Further out of Tours than described, a good 30 minutes brisk walk.No lift, a problem if you have heavy luggage. Air conditioning unit in bedroom was faulty and made massively disturbing noise throughout the night. Although clean, the rooms were tired and really need updating. Facilities were poor. Hotel located some distance from restaurants. In this competitive world, no reason to choose this hotel.
