The owner, David Barthelemy , could not do enough for us and our one night stay was a real joy. The post dinner gathering comprising French , Belgiam, Dutch and German visitors and hoted by David was great. Watch out for the Mirabelle liqueur !

and the staff food room and surroundings were better than excelent and we intend to go back when we are on holiday again we have stayed in several hotels but this one was by far the best

We were very pleased with the quality of service and the facilities at Villa Thalassa. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We have two young kids and asked for two extra beds but because there was an available room next to ours we were allowed to use it at very little extra charge. Staff was friendly, accommodating and professional.

The welcome was fantastic. Pierre is really kind. He gives you all the information you may need, and lets you hair down - fantastic after a long travel. Breakfast was really excellent, and the position (a 20' walk to downtown) is ideal to visit Metz.

The house was very well presented and the room was spacious with good en suite facilities and secure parking. We were greeted warmly with tea on arrival and we particularly liked the breakfast which provided lots of choice. The departing gift of home made preserve was a lovely gesture which made our stay memorable. -

Breakfast was more than adequate, we even offered food to take with us when we left. we were also recommended a reasaurant called the Relais Fleuri which proved to be very nice indeed some 5 km from the hotel in Diemeringen.
