  Great staff. Polite but informal. They all responded well to an emergency (power-cut), Very good food and wine - easily 1 star Michelin and getting near 2 in my opinion. - excellent food, good atmosphere, log fire in the lounge, comprehensive breakfast, Spa was good

  Our rooms on the ground floor (a former stable in the long distant past) of this charming property were artistically decorated and very comfortable. In a wonderful hidden position with a large lake populated by various bird life including geese and a pair of Australian swans. Our delightful host Sabine was very knowledgeable about the Champagne ... what people say » area, and advised on a number of local champagne producers. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there, which gave us plenty of time to explore the sur - Everything! Our room (superior suite) was spacious and clean. Our hosts were welcoming and very friendly. They prepared us a beautiful home cooked meal which we shared at their family table as we had arrived on bikes and were too exhausted to go out in the evening. We had free range of the property which includes a beautiful lake with a flock of geese and ducks. We fell in love with it all and would look forward to going back again if the opportunity arose.

  Of all the hotels we stayed at in France we totally loved La Villa Eugene, it was immaculately restored, extremely clean, a spacious room, great variety of food for breakfast, comfortable bed, best attention to detail by owner, even a chocolate on the pillow, off street locked parking at night, congratulations on a great welcoming hotel and busine... what people say » ss, if only more were like you, well done. - Clean and comfortable room.
