  Quiet and pleasant location with good outdoor swimming pool with towels/shower/Jacuzzi all alongside. - Stunning food and ambience. Fabulous setting and very attentive staff. We would highly recommend.

  It is very special to be able to stay at the stunning Chateau des Briottieres which has a great personal feel because the owner, M. de Valbray and his family are the sixth generation to still live there. The chateau and its out buildings are beautifully decorated and well maintained on a glorious piece of parklike property. I only wish that we ha... what people say » d been able to stay longer to enjoy the property. Be sure to stay for dinner. There are many chateaux and sites to visit in the area. - A beautiful castle with nice grounds. The family owners are actively engaged in the running of the house. We had dinner in the evening with good food and wine. Breakfast was pleasant with delicious homemade jam. The main house had two sitting rooms open to guests (one with a log fire) and a library with billiard table. Our room was in the Orangerie, which also had a comfortable, communal seating area. We borrowed bicycles and explored the grounds.
