  This was our 2nd stay in the Hotel. We absolutely loved it. Food was wonderful and rooms Excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel location is excellent, quite area with nice view and only 5 min walking to the center. You have to take aside 3 Star of hotel as it is based on old French system. Note that the Hotel is managed by the owner who is no - Has everything for the mountain biker. Secure storage for bikes. Shoe dryer, bikewash facilities. Only 100metres to the cable car main station. Same to restaurants shops etc.Room modern ,clean and comfortable.

  The Chalet du Mont d'Arbois is an amazing place, in a great location close to the lifts and just above town. There is absolutely no way anyone can have a justifiable complaint about this place unless (a) you're a strident animal rights activist (as pretty much every guest is in head-to-toe fur), (b) you're wierded out by taxidermy (now I know why ... what people say » there are no sizeable animals in the French Alps -- they've all been killed and stuffed in this hotel), or (c) you don't have enough money to get in t - - beautiful and stylish 4* mountain hotel - very welcoming and helpful staff - free shuttle takes you to the ski slopes or the city center any time during the day - great sauna-swimming pool area

  Although not within walking distance to Chamonix the hotel is in its own unique position across from the Bossons Glacier so provides amazing views of that and Mt Blanc and the other mountains. One of the owners is an interior designer for chalets, and this place could certainly be called a model. There is so much attention to detail, that one always discovers something new to look at.   The staff, were excellent and were very attentive, especially in the dining room. Breakfast was lovely and the room we had was very cosy with wood finish everywhere.   The Hotel was set amidst the most beautiful scenery and the whole atmosphere of the place was perfect. Quaint rooms and beautiful dining and bar area we were only there for two nights following a business trip but will definately return - Comfortable, elegant, quiet (away from the busy atmosphere of Chamonix), excellent location, beautiful views... what people say » , pet friendly, heated swimming pool, best breakfast buffet in the area.
