  We travel a lot staying in many beautiful places all over the world and La Bonne Auberge has to be one of our absolute favourites! It's totally unique, peaceful and very romantic, like stepping back in time. The view of the Seine is amazing (look out for the ocean going container ships which dwarf everything around them but pass by very quietly!), the thatched cottages are romantic, delightful and beautifully set out. Our apartment had a small fully equipped kitchen (which we didn't expect) with dishwasher, oven, fridge and microwave.   I thought the B&B had character and charm and that everyone was kind, welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and it had a lovely ensuite bathroom. The views were beautiful and it was very peaceful. Also liked the fact it had a kitchen that you could use if you wanted to get a meal.   Lovely little B&B in a very small village but only a few Kim's away from the main A13. Easy to find - it's right on a cross road in the village. Helpful and pleasant owners, good breakfast, room was very nice - on two levels, a sort of lounge and bathroom downstairs (with a powerful shower), and bedroom upstairs. Motorbike friendly. The village is lovely with friendly people and there are other beautiful villages just by like Vieux Port and Bourneville. A great place to stay.
