  The welcome; the "orangerie" room, as My Wife had recently had a hip operation and was still using sticks; the delicious meals and service; the gardens surrounded by old trees. The best hotel we have stayed in for a very long time - and we travel quite a lot! - Magnificent place to stay. Very kind personnel and great delicious food.   Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Rooms were very spacious and clean, and the king sized bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in.
