  The welcome; the "orangerie" room, as My Wife had recently had a hip operation and was still using sticks; the delicious meals and service; the gardens surrounded by old trees. The best hotel we have stayed in for a very long time - and we travel quite a lot! - Magnificent place to stay. Very kind personnel and great delicious food. Feel ourself... what people say » the 19 century noble family. Location is only accessible by car but that makes it more quiet. Enjoyed our stay.

  The spa facilities are fantastic and very well organised. Although the person at reception at the Grand Cerf was a little odd, staff at the neighbouring hotel where the spa is located were lovely and allowed us to keep our bicycles in their closed garage. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we had been recommended Auberge des Halles which was fabulous and excellent value for money.
