The view of the Old Port was spectacular, huge tub in bathroom, wonderful beds, big room, brand new bathroom, air conditioning was perfect, staff was professional and friendly, It has the best view of the whole port of any hotel. Yes it is as others have commented a bit 'tired' in the decor but for me this added to the charm of the place. Can't comment on the food however as we never ate there.
