  L'Affable was a wonderful choice of accommodation and we're sure it could be for many of you. Hidden in the mountains, driving towards L'Affable from Carcassonne made it a very enjoyable journey, wiggling our way through picturesque villages, stopping for lunch in Saissac and arriving in time for an afternoon siesta in the very comfortable bed we ... what people say » were offered at L'Affable. The house conveys beautiful architecture and we felt lucky to have found a free room as soon as we parked our car outside. - What a wonderful find. We arrived later than we planned and the jolie Madame still included us in a delicious 3 course meal with 2 other guests. The owners ate with us and were very friendly and incredibly helpful, sharing knowledge of the area etc. Our room (the beige room) was huge with a lovely bed, great bathroom with fab shower and huge windows. The next day we took a beautiful hike to the nearby dam and there are many other hikes right from the door. Over all we felt very welcome and noth
