You can also easily reach the Railway station - it's just 15 minutes by walk from the hotel or you can use metro.

  The hotel is a wonderful spot. It looks relatively new and is much larger than I expected. The rooms are large, very clean, and well appointed. After many negative experiences with self-check in at places in France, it was a relief to have someone at the front desk 24 hours a day. Parking in a secure lot with your own personal garage was a mere ... what people say » 8 euros a night -- a steal, in my opinion, and well worth it. Highly recommended! - It's a great place to stay when in Marseille if you like to be able to do some of your own meals at home. It's close to the train station but with views out to the water from the upper rooms. While it's in the city it is only a 5 - 10 minute walk downhill to Joliette from where you you can take a bus straight to the beach at L'Estaque.within 20 minutes. Very comfortable and quiet although works currently going on nearby.

Staff. All - The hotel was very comfortable and centrally located. The staff was great as well as the breakfast. Lovely room, very comfortable, yet on the small side, but all that was needed. My room was extremely quiet, did not hear anything at all, perhaps because I was on the top floor. Was surprised that it was so quiet because I was on the front side of the hotel on a very busy street
