  we liked the central and easy to find but quiet location, the availabillity of parking in the host's garage, the calm and elegance of the house, the spaciousness and comfort of the en-suite room, excellent bed and bedding. In the winter guests will like the underfloor heating and in the warmer seasons there is a large patio are within the house to... what people say » enjoy. We also enjoyed the continental breakfasts with interesting home made elements, and the friendly, knowledgeable and efficient welcome. - Great location close to Vieux Port and L'abbaye St.Victor with easy access to good local shops. Rooms large and tastefully decorated with lovely pictures and unusual objets d'art. Quiet courtyard garden for breakfast and relaxing. Mme. Depieds very helpful. Recommend Bar de l'Abbaye round the corner for quick but good lunch and wonderful sunset views in the evening.

  Beautiful small house with great location. Lovely hosts (a little French would help to connect, but even with their little English we got along great), very cozy/homelike atmosphere.   We have stayed at Villa Monticelli for 4 days and we absolutely loved it! Delicious breakfast, beautiful balcony, cosy rooms and friendly owners (the family which owns the Villa and their wonderful dog).
