  The location was brilliant, on a quiet street close to the pedestrian centre of Lille. It is a 4 guest room B&B in a 140 year old town house - but what rooms and what a house. The décor was faultless and the standard of cleanliness up with the best we have ever encountered - anywhere! The breakfasts were superb and Denis and Sylvie were pleas... what people say » ant and perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble - from collection and return to the railway station in Denis's London taxi to a totally unexpected - Our stay at La Maison was all and more than we expected. Much has already been said by others- but this B and B is very special. Luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean, and the owners and hosts look after every need. Breakfasts were generous and filling- you wont really need lunch! We were picked up from the station in Denis' London cab- and from that moment we were offered the highest standard of service and care. Thankyou Maison- we loved our stay.
