  After travelling around France and Italy for 3 weeks, it was a relief to find a top quality hotel at a very resonable price, more on par with the standards I have experienced aroung the world.   The kids loved the hotel because of the playstation downstairs and the swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. We loved the friendly staff in the restaurant and the great food - we had breakfasts and dinners there. They made us feel welcome all the way, they even gave the kids presents when we arrived! Although the prom was a 10 min walk we were so pleased we stayed in the Novotel as we were able to see all areas of Nice with only a short walk. The food, staff and facilities were excellent and if I ever stay in Nice again i will be booking this hotel.

  I would not have appreciated my visit to Nice as much if I had not stayed at Villa Leonie. Over-all, the atmosphere was exceptional. They are located in a quiet garden setting, but are just a short walk away from grand scenic views of the coastline, the ocean, and the best view of the entire city of Nice. And yet at the same time, they are near to... what people say » the hustle and bustle of everything in the heart of the city. The directrice and her staff were friendly and very helpful. Their information, advice, - A wonderful location - about 5 minutes from a small and relatively quiet beach and a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the sea front into the old town. The welcome couldn't have been warmer and the room was very comfortable and clean. Being able to sit in the lovely garden to read and have breakfast was a real added bonus. If we return to Nice we will gladly stay at Villa Leonie again.

Staff who met us on arrival with keys and on our departure were very nice. - Apartment was les orchidees (or a name like that cant remember exactly), when we initially booked i looked up the apartment we had been assigned and emailed them saying we requested a change of apartment - which they did with no issues. Check in and out no probs, as others stated be aware you need to clean apartment (or pay high fees fir housekeeping). good location. Very well stocked apartment (all cleaning products, tea coffee etc).

Breakfast - We came to Nice for honeymoon and originally I booked a hotel by the beach, till I saw Villa Vermorel's breathtaking scenary from our bedroom. Thegreat service of the host and her cute granddaughter made our stay really memorable. We also had a good chat with the guests of the other room and it felt like a family. Nice port and old town is just 25 minutes away on foot, so we were happy to be able to exercise a bit off the great food here. All in all I would highly recommend this place to anyone
