  I liked the professional but relaxed attitude by the staff to guests. I would certainly stay there again. The gentleman on reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly and will be sadly missed if/when he retires. - We liked it very much. Hard to believe it's a 2 star.   This was my first trip to Nice and also my first solo trip abroad. I was very impressed by the friendly manor in which the staff were towards me. Having read some of the reviews before; I did not have much problem with the internet connection, besides only a few drop outs, It worked really well.   We love the location!! Just near to the train station, walk out, to your left, walk straight and your first right, just five minutes. And the beach, walk out, to your left and walk straight, about ten minutes. There are many cafes and restaurants near the hotel, maybe because its in the city centre. The person at the desk was very helpful immediately upon my check in - taking a map to point out bus station (1 EU to Monaco), train station and the pedestrian areas. Location is great in terms of being close to the train station (makes getting in and out very easy), and nearby the train station there are also a lot of shops (like supermarket) and restaurants. However, it's a little further away from the pebble beach, the promenade, and the major shopping area (which is near th... what people say » e coast) as well as Old Town Nice. (at least 20 min walk to all those) You can also take the tram alternatively. - Situated in the centre of Nice and within a couple of minutes walk of the main railway station, the hotel had a pretty Mediterranean courtyard garden. The rooms overlooked the garden and hence the hotel was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a relaxing atmosphere. The Promenade des Anglais is an easy 10 minute walk. Would stay there again.

  We have stayed here only one night and it was good. The room has enough space and quite nice bathroom. It's not close to see, but you can walk there and back to hotel. - Nice staff very helpful, the room and the bathroom are small but for the price you can't complain and the best is location only 4 minute walk to lots of shopping.
