  For the most part, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious by European standards and impeccably clean. Value for money for the room was great via letsbookhotel.com as the advertised rate at the hotel was considerably more. Our dogs were welcomed without any fee. New hotel with great beds and lots of free park... what people say » ing. We especially liked the late night room service and bar. The hotel does well to accommodate people who need/want a late meal. - Convenient location just outside the town. Local supermarkets for shopping. The staff were very helpful, excellent rooms and breakfast and very good parking. Wifi worked very well, a rare benefit from our trip. Excellent value for money.

  The owner Henrich went out of his way every day to ensure our needs were met. This is a very knowlegable and engaging hotel owner. Auberge de La Claire felt like a home away from home for us. After our 2nd night stay there we decided to stay over one more. We immensly enjoyed the intimate bar at the reception area. The breakfast was most satisfac... what people say » tory. The rooms are smallish but heck; you're in Honfluer...there is so much to see... we only slept in our room. We highly recommend a stay this coun - We found Henrick to be very helpful w/ restaurant recommendations and reservations (we don't speak French). He even put us in a room that allowed us to just open the door to get to our car and to walk our dog in the morning (w/o flights of stairs!). We'll be staying at this hotel again!
