  What a fantastic little gem of a place this is. This is a little oasis of heaven deep in the countryside in a very popular area of the Ardeche. A 20 minute walk to Les Vans the place can seem a bit isolated, but if that is was you like, then Le Mas is the guest-house for you. The couple who own the house were exceptionally friendly. Inviting us... what people say » to sit out in the covered garden for a drink on arrival and making us feel very welcome. The house is in its own grounds and very secure.   Loved Franc (owner) and his hospitality. He was very helpful recommending day trips and spoke English! Dinner's were very good and reasonably priced. The facilities (room, pool area, eating area) very clean and comfortable. We thought it was a good value too. We will recommend to others. - The setting is like a fairytale! The innkeeper, Frank... what people say » , was a wonderful resource and chef! The room was very large, pool magnificent, dinners excellent. The town of Les Vans is charming and the market on Saturday is great. Frank gave us a great itinerary to see the gorge.....stunning!
