  The apartment is actually a three storey town house with a roof terrace with views towards the citadel. It is 5 mins walk from the citadel and 5 mins to the main part of Carcassonne. We took possession as soon as we arrived and Evelyn could not have been more helpful. It is a beautifully equipped property and so well located.   The apartment was excellent. Exceeded our expectations. The balcony is great and the view is spectacular. The space in the apt is great, but might be a bit tight for 6 adults as there is only 1 toilet (2 bathrooms). I would stay here again if I come to Carcassonne. - good location - between the Citadel & The Bastide. Plenty of restaurants ... what people say » in both areas.

  Being an apparthotel we had complete flexibility to "eat in" rather than find a restaurant every night as there was a small and surprisingly well-equiped kitchenette with all that we needed in the way of utensils for light meal preparation; this also made our stay in Cacassonne very economical. The indoor pool and sauna were a bonu - The hotel has a large internal parking available and is within walking distance from the medieval city. The staff is friendly and helpful: there was a problem with the room they assigned us - twin beds instead of a double one - and they were very accomodating, and quick in finding a solution. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and it was very clean and spacious, with a large balcony and a stunning view of the fortified ramparts. The bathroom was well-furnished and immaculate.   We love to stay in this apartment as the room is spacious with many kitchen equipments (except water boiler). My dad could take care of himself with cooking tools while my mom and I were not around. It is very convenient for travellers who like to focus on old historic city as it is only some minutes away but make sure you need to be fit to climb ... what people say » up the rock floor.. - Space. It was pretty big the apartment for my famility to stay (couple + 1yr old baby + 3 yrs. old child). The location was perfect. Very close to the castle. The access is very good to go walking. Not recomended to go to the castle with the baby trolley but this has nothing to do with the hotel/appartment. Very very good price/quality ratio.
