I enjoyed the city of Bastia on the Mediterranean Sea. There are several good restaurants, the one next to the hotel has a lot of potential. There are some beaches close by but they are not that easily attained. Nice architecture, nice for a two day stay. 24 hr reception. All staff extremely helpful. Room aircon very quiet. We would use this hotel again on another visit. Very close to all seafront restaurants 1 - 5 minutes walk. Also sea port is nearby.

For example, the transport, touristic places etc... Great location between the old port and the ferry terminals. With a sea view the constant ferry traffic is fun to watch. Be prepared to wait a long time for a slot within walking distance of the hotel. couldnt fault it really only here for one night and it was what we required, bathroom bit small but not a big problem really. Everything was great. Service at breakfast was difficult for 3 people when only given one tray and no plates.Waitress was not very helpful. No parking on site and little public parking available. Tiny lift. Quite expensive. Breakfast was not the best part ... It is hard to find a place to park during rush hours. Hopefully, some parking places are being freed throughout evening and night. - No elevator. No ramp to roll luggage (tough for handicapped), breakfast coffee poor quality as was orange juice and packaged cheese - overpriced. nothing. I did not sleep very well and only a few hours because I could hear everything from the next room, where a very loud group of youth made a lot of noise during the complete night. Very clearaudient. Explicitly disallow eating in the rooms. Nothing. Room is a bit small but if you wish to stay for one night after the boattrip from Italy or France its a great place. cramped room, minuscule lift not up to room level. The facilities very basic for a +eur 100/night room. Small bathroom and room generally. This is perhaps typical of Corsica however. Staff (women) on the receptor desk claimed they don't accept payment with credit cart, so I must payed in cash. the rooms are very basic, the hotel is old, elevator goes only to 1st floor and can hardly hold one person with a suitcase. Breakfast not in line with the price: 9€ for industrial marmelade and not fresh croissant. Bathroom sink got clogged up, but then again, it seems to be the rule at all hotels.
